Copper City Chiefs Sign Forward Anthony Falvo
ROME, N.Y. – The Copper City Chiefs are excited to announce the signing of forward Anthony Falvo for the 2026-27 American Premier Hockey League (APHL) season.
The 5-foot-7, 155-pound 20 year old forward is a product of New Hartford High School, where he established himself as one of the top offensive players in Central New York. During his high school career, Falvo recorded 27 goals and 41 assists for 68 points, averaging an impressive 2.03 points per game. His outstanding play earned him NYHS First Team All-Conference honors as well as All-CNY High School recognition.
Following his high school career, Falvo attracted interest from several high-level junior programs and NCAA colleges but ultimately chose to forgo both junior and collegiate hockey to begin his professional career with the Copper City Chiefs.
"Anthony may not be the biggest player on the ice, but he certainly doesn't play small," said Jimmy Milliken, Owner and President of the Copper City Chiefs. "He's an explosive skater with tremendous speed and shiftiness, and he has the ability to create offense every time he touches the puck. He reminds me of a player we had in Blue Ridge last season that was our leading scorer. We're excited to add Anthony to our inaugural roster and look forward to watching him develop at the professional level."
Despite his smaller stature, Falvo's speed, quickness, and offensive instincts make him a dangerous playmaker who can create scoring opportunities every time he steps on the ice. The Chiefs believe his work ethic and determination will make him an exciting player for fans to watch during the club's inaugural season.
The Copper City Chiefs continue to assemble a talented mix of experienced veterans and promising local players as they prepare for their first season in franchise history.
