Chiefs Hire Karri Tibbitts as Director of Business Operations

Milliken Sports Group Announces Hiring of Karri Tibbitts as Director of Business Operations for Rome Hockey.

ROME, N.Y. — Milliken Sports Group is pleased to announce the hiring of Karri Tibbitts as Director of Business Operations for its Rome Hockey organization, which will begin play during the 2026-27 season in the American Premier Hockey League (APHL).

Tibbitts will oversee the day-to-day business operations of Rome Hockey, including ticket sales, corporate partnerships, merchandise operations, game-day administration, and community outreach. She will also play a key role in building relationships with local businesses, community organizations, and hockey fans throughout the Rome area.

Tibbitts brings a strong background in operations, leadership, and community engagement. Her experience managing large-scale recreational programs, supervising staff, developing partnerships, and working directly with the public makes her an outstanding addition to the organization's leadership team.

As Director of Business Operations, Tibbitts will lead the organization's business initiatives while overseeing merchandise operations, assisting with season ticket memberships, developing corporate partnerships, coordinating community outreach efforts, and supporting the club's marketing and promotional activities.

Rome Hockey will begin its inaugural season this fall at the historic John F. Kennedy Arena, bringing affordable, family-friendly hockey entertainment back to the City of Rome while serving as an active community partner throughout Central New York.
