Chiefs Sign Former FPHL Scorer Vincent Nucci 

ROME, N.Y. – The Copper City Chiefs have announced the signing of former Federal Prospects Hockey League (FPHL) standout Vincent Nucci, adding another proven offensive threat to the club's inaugural 2026-27 roster. Nucci's signing is featured on the Coors Light Transaction Tracker.

The 6-foot-2, 200-pound forward brings professional scoring experience to the Chiefs after an impressive stint with the Rome Frenzy (FPHL). During his time in Rome, the Rochester native recorded 34 goals and 31 assists for 65 points in just 46 games, establishing himself as one of the league's top offensive performers.

Prior to turning professional, Nucci enjoyed a successful collegiate career at Utica University (NCAA Division III), where he skated for the Pioneers. Over his college career, he totaled 24 goals and 29 assists, earning a reputation as a skilled, dependable forward with a knack for producing in key situations.

Nucci's signing continues the Chiefs' commitment to assembling a competitive team with a blend of professional experience, local hockey connections, and proven offensive talent as the organization prepares for its first season at the John F. Kennedy Civic Arena.
