Chiefs Sign Defenseman Cole Moore

ROME, N.Y. — The Copper City Chiefs are proud to announce the signing of defenseman Cole Moore for the upcoming 2026-27 APHL season.

The 6-foot-1, 190-pound blueliner spent four seasons at Nazareth College (NCAA Division III), where he established himself as a reliable two-way defenseman. During his collegiate career, Moore recorded 13 goals, 20 assists, and 33 points, while adding 62 penalty minutes in 64 career games, averaging over 0.5 points per game from the blue line.

Moore will also reunite with former Nazareth teammates Ray Falso and JT Entelisano, giving the Chiefs strong chemistry heading into their inaugural season.

Although Moore is listed as a forward on Elite Prospects, he played defense throughout his collegiate career and excelled in every situation.

"Cole brings so much to the table for the Chiefs," said Owner/President Jimmy Milliken. "He can quarterback our power play, kill penalties, and be a shutdown defenseman while still producing offense. He's definitely going to be fun to watch and will play a huge role on our blue line this season."
