Chiefs Sign Standout Goaltender Bryan Landsberger

ROME, N.Y. — The Copper City Chiefs have strengthened their crease with the signing of standout goaltender Bryan Landsberger for the upcoming season on the Coors Light Transaction Tracker.
The 6-foot-6, 205-pound Montreal, Quebec native comes to the Chiefs following an outstanding four-year collegiate career at Utica College (NCAA Division III).
Landsberger put together exceptional numbers during his time with Utica, finishing his collegiate career with a 40-4-3 record, 1.60 goals-against average and a .930 save percentage.
Prior to his collegiate career, Landsberger played junior hockey with the Ottawa Jr. Senators of the CCHL, appearing in 35 games while recording a 2.36 goals-against average and .917 save percentage.
“The stats speak for themselves. Adding Bryan to the mix with Tripp (Clarke) definitely gives us what we believe to be the best goaltending tandem in the league, and possibly in Single-A hockey. That means anytime the Chiefs step on the ice, we already know we have a good shot to win the game.
“They say you win championships from the goal out — well, we’re off to a great start then!”
— Chiefs Owner & President Jimmy Milliken
The addition of Landsberger gives the Chiefs another proven winner in net as the organization continues building its roster for its inaugural season.
