Copper City Chiefs Sign Gritty Defenseman Nick Falcone

ROME, N.Y. – The Copper City Chiefs, proud members of the American Premier Hockey League (APHL), are excited to announce the signing of defenseman Nick Falcone for the 2026-27 inaugural season.

The 6-foot, 200-pound defenseman played collegiately at Mohawk Valley Community College (MVCC) before earning an opportunity to suit up for the Elmira Enforcers of the Federal Prospects Hockey League (FPHL). Known as a physical, stay-at-home defenseman, Falcone brings toughness, grit, and a team-first mentality to the Chiefs' blue line.

"Another player that comes highly recommended," said Chiefs Owner/President Jimmy Milliken. "By adding Nick to the lineup, we have a guy who will hit, drop the mitts, and be a reliable defenseman every night. He's the type of player fans love to watch, and I'm sure Nick will quickly become a fan favorite."

Falcone adds another hometown connection to the Chiefs roster as the organization continues to build a team that represents the talent and pride of the Mohawk Valley while competing for an APHL championship.
