Copper City Chiefs Sign Rome Native Forward JT Entelisano
ROME, N.Y. – The Copper City Chiefs, proud members of the American Premier Hockey League (APHL), are excited to announce the signing of forward JT Entelisano for the upcoming inaugural season.
A Rome, New York native, Entelisano brings a physical, hard-nosed style of play along with strong collegiate and junior hockey experience. The 5-foot-11, 185-pound forward began his collegiate career at Utica University (NCAA Division III) before transferring to Nazareth College (NCAA Division III). During his collegiate career, he recorded 14 points while accumulating 95 penalty minutes, showcasing the grit and toughness that define his game.
Prior to college, Entelisano played junior hockey with the Markham Royals (OJHL) and the Rochester Monarchs (USPHL). During his junior career, he totaled 21 goals, 39 assists, 60 points, and 202 penalty minutes, establishing himself as a physical two-way forward who wasn't afraid to play with an edge.
"JT is a meat-and-potatoes type of guy," said Chiefs Owner/President Jimmy Milliken. "He plays with a ton of grit, can score, set up teammates, and is a great leader in the locker room. He's the type of player we want wearing a Chiefs uniform. Our fans are going to love the way he competes every single shift."
Entelisano becomes the third player signed in Copper City Chiefs history as the organization continues to assemble a competitive roster for its inaugural APHL season.
